Chateau 1771's 25th Anniversary and Book Launch

Chateau 1771 Group of Restaurants celebrated their 25th Anniversary with a book launch at the Ayala Museum last Saturday, May 18, 2013. Present during the event were owner Ricky Gutierrez and their reknowned and well-loved chef, Vicky Rose Pacheco.

I arrived late so I wasn't able to catch the program, but I'm thankful as I was able to taste the sumptuous food and meet the owners. I tried to stay away from the meat, but I knew I was kidding myself. I gave in. 

The book (which I read as soon as I got home), contained stories about the restaurants, endeared me as I have special memories tied to each 1771 restaurant experience (you can read them in my faith-based gratitude blog). My favorite was Portico 1771, sadly it was the one that closed shop. It's great though that all the other restaurants - Chateau, Sentro, Cafe 1771, WineBar and Sidebar are still up and running. If you haven't gone to any of those, I recommend you do! Thank you Chateau 1771 Group of Restaurants for inviting me, and for continuously serving us great food and taking care of us through your excellent service! More power and blessings to you!

For the event, I wore an electric blue bustier dress by Forever 21, shoes by T. My bag, necklace and earrings were from Liz Claiborne, Claire's and my mother, respectively.

Jeon Ji Hyeon (전지현) is best known for her starring roles in Korean film modern-day classics such as My Sassy Girl (which is almost everyone's 'first' or 'favorite' Korean movie), Windstruck and Il Mare. Ji Hyun is decked in casual denim wear by Guess for High Cut.

May Magazine Photoshoot: Harper’s Bazaar Korea

Two Korean actresses, Lee Yeong Hee and Kim Tae Hee are featured in fashion editorials in the May 2011 edition of Harper’s Bazaar Korea.

Lee Yeong Hee is a contract artist from SM Entertainment. She appeared in many drama series, including “One Fine Day” on MBC in 2006, “East of Eden” which was also shown on MBC in 2008 and in “Paradise Ranch” on SBS this 2011. Yeong Hee was also in the films “Millionaire’s First Love”, “M”, “My Love” and “Hello, Schoolgirl”. She is widely known as the “SME MV girl (SM Entertainment Music Video girl)” as she has appeared in many music videos of her labelmates including SHINHWA, Moon Hee-Jun, Kangta, Zhang Li Yin, DBSK, Fly to the Sky, Clazziquai and SM the Ballad. In this photo shoot, Lee Yeong Hee is featured in the latest Vanessa Bruno collection.

Kim Tae Hee has been noted for appearing in many successful drama series, including “Stairway to Heaven” on SBS in 2003, Forbidden Love on KBS and Love Story in Harvard on SBS in 2004, IRIS on KBS-2 in 2009 and most recently on MBC’s My Princess. She also appeared in several films including “The Restless”, “Venus and Mars” and the film adaptation of IRIS. Tae Hee is also a known product endorser and has appeared in CFs for Samsung, Olympus, Cyon and Lotte Zec just to name a few. In this photo shoot, Kim Tae Hee is featured relaxing on a beach wearing navy, white and sand-colored outfits.

Event: Marc Jacobs 10th Anniversary Capsule Collection Opening

K-Pop celebrities and sisters Krystal Jung of f(x) and Jessica Jung of Girls Generation graced Marc by Marc Jacobs' 10th Anniversary Capsule Collection Opening last 24 April 2011 held at the Shinsegae Mall in Kangnam. The girls are big fans of the brand and looked very lovely in their own Marc Jacobs wear.

Jessica wore a cream-colored collared top with semi-puff sleeves cinched at the waist over a leopard print dress and beige closed heels with grey socks and sported a brown shoulder bag.

Krystal wore a bright printed dress in blue, red, yellow and black with a teal jacket and black platform gladiator heels and sported a dark blue hobo bag.
